We have examined the harsh conditions in rolling mills, which are the heart of the iron and steel industry, in many facilities and investigated the reasons for the rapid failure of the bearings used in rolling mill rolls. In order to solve this problem, which causes unplanned downtime and brings additional costs in production, we have developed the SMI5 series, which is completely specific to this sector. With the SMI5 series, which we have developed by considering the pollution, temperature, heavy loads, lubrication and storage problems during backup, we have made it our goal to prevent unplanned downtime.
